Re: Joustoluotto - Flexible Credit

I use klarna to buy expensive things online! I just pay a monthly instalment. They have never once asked about my income! I have unfortunately noticed that the online musical instrument shops that use klarna, seem to be a little more pricey than the ones that take credit cards and not klarna, (I don...

Re: Winter Cycling

I cycle thought winter, on a 26" mountain bike, usually pulling a bike trailer, and my boys have cycled on 20" and 24 " bikes, all with nokia winter tyres. (here is a link to the kind of trailer it is, in case you were interested - not a flimsy cloth thing!: ) http://www.lastentarvike...

Re: England U21 playing in Tampere in Sept!

I hope there are LOTS of goals anyway, as they have just thrashed Scotland 6-0.
My youngest boy plays in a TPV summer season team & they have only won one game & scored 5 goals (3 were his!) all Summer season, so he is eagerly awaiting some skilled action!

Re: England U21 playing in Tampere in Sept!

All the available seats seem to be in the small, covered area. I am going with my England flag, while my husband & kids wave Finnish flags. It is fairly easy to wander around there, well it was when I watched the European U23 athletics champs there. letś hope itś a good game, with gareth Southga...

Re: Seeking Musicians

I think if your Finnish is better than mine, this website could help you: http://muusikoiden.net/wanted/ I would love to help, but unfortunately I only play, flute. clarinet, sax, trumpet, horn, tuba, trombone and piano! Not a kantele in sight :D Good luck with your venture, Finland is indeed full o...

listening to The Ashes on internet radio

I seem to have trouble with this sort of thing a lot, judging by the amount of posts I make about sport coverage! Anyway, I haven´t been able to listen to Test Match special on my internet radio - UK broadcasting rights and all that. BUT Now I have found how to: I tuned into Australia´s radio statio...

Re: Cloth Nappies

Hello! My 4 are well out of reusables by now, but we used fuzzibunz and MEOS, all of which I bought second hand on huuto.net & some english sites before they were closed down, & the selling of used cloth nappies online in UK banned, I believe. But for new, tiny babies, I used just the basic ...

Re: Le Tour de France help! Internet viewing?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I found the English cycling magazines in Tampere Sokos store, and they include le Tour guides too, very helpful. My claim to fame: one summer I cycled the Pyyrannees W France area, including the Col du Tourmalet, it was even scarier than it looked on TV when the peloto...

We are in the process of moving to mummola ie pieni punanien mökki metsassa, for about a year (our home is being bulldozed and totally rebuilt, it has been declared unsafe for expansion or even improvement!) We cant get canal plus or viasat there apparently. I will go mad without my football, but at...

England U21 playing in Tampere in Sept!

After noticing that most tickets were sold out for the Man City v Arsenal match in Helsinki, and the Fin v Spain tickets were an absolute fortune, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that England under 21s are playing Suomi U21 in Ratina Stadium, Tampere, 17.50 for adults, 9eur for kids. Nice price...
