But everyone speaks English. In fact for me its more difficult understanding people in UK with bad English, ev...

Re: Washing machine Finland to UK?

It is a Pesukarhu brand yes. No parts would be quite a big problem, I did at least keep the transportation screw for wherever it goes.

Washing machine Finland to UK?

Obvious 'tech' question to some of you out there. We've just finnished paying for out Pesukarhu but are now moving to UK. Apart from the plug what differences are there and would it be worth taking with us? (cost is not the question so much with transportation).

Re: How to get alcohol passport (anniskelupassi)

I'd recommend Keskuspuiston Ammattiopisto the Orton hospital in Töölö and I'd say to revise this also a very good idea! I only just scrapped a pass 1st time and saved myself time and money. Previous to that I'd tried somewhere else to take it but they did whole class in another language other than E...

Re: World Cup TV coverage

Euro 2012 right? Not a WC, sorry to be pedantic ;-)

YLE will do for me and there's talksport from the UK you can get on-line while TV is on, especially as BBC can be very bland. I don't give us (England) much chances though. Lets see.....

Re: RESIDENCE PERMIT

Would you be able to send me a link to this Bible school? (just so I can check it out). I'd say your best option is to come here and go on a day trip to Estonia or Sweden then come back and get the paperwork to prove you did go there, that would be some travel like you did actually state you were go...

Re: Residence permit for EU citizens

I often found that going on friday is good and quieter as its mosque day. Also from what i understand you don't need a residence permit as an EU citizen but if you want a KELA card what do you need one for? Have you got a job or something?

Re: Indoor Football Helsinki - Places available

Yep, I'm 38 y.o. Englishman looking for a team, once a week even, its not that easy to get 'into' a team here, I'm a reasonable 5-a-sider, if I can't find one I'm gonna even stretch and accept a sallibandi team. Anywhere in HKI area is better than Espoo and/or Vantaa. Any ideas?
