Re: How to find out which court issued arrest warrant?
Justin
How does your lawyer think you can find it out from S-A if he cannot? It seems to me that he is not interested in the case. (the fact that you don't want to pay for your airline ticket, which is probably cheaper than his fee, might have something to do with it)
He wrote a lett...

Dear All, I contacted a Finnish lawyer regarding my red notice, but he needs to know which court issued the arrest warrant which is precondition of red notice and who the prosecutor is before he can help me. Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
Your story is like leaking boat and I’m sorry but I think you are not being straight with forumites. What surprises me most is why are you wasting your time repeatedly here as apparently all the advice there is to give has been passed to you. If you are in real trouble contact these people instead:...

Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
Wow. This is so easy. You don't pay for travel costs of the Finnish police = you save money = you won't end up in Finland for trial = perfect! Seriously, poor Finnish police would come and get you if you agreed to pay their tickets. Would they take the opportunity to bring their families too so they...

Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
n.b. Having access to internet is not something I would expect in a S-African prison. Many things in your story sound weird.
I am on probation, I paid 2000 Euros for that in South Africa. They took away my passport and refused to let me leave, but Finland does not want me to transf...

Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
The Japanese embassy should be able to give you all necessary information and establish legal consultation for you, are you in contact with them? My own embassy has no information regarding my case, they never met this kind of case before. Asian guy in Africa with red notice , planning to transfere...

Re: Interpol Red Notice Issued from Finland!
How does statute of limitations work? If time runs out for 5 years, this case will automatically closed? Do not expect that the international arrest warrant will disappear. Although Finland might not prosecute you after this period, police in other countries will not automatically be brought up to ...

Re: Interpol Red Notice Issued from Finland!

Re: Interpol Red Notice Issued from Finland!
I (and most of us here) work our ass off and pay our fair tax share, nothing but for a peaceful life. I try to be helpful and friendly towards others, but when I read this I got pissed off ( normally when I see people evade taxes / launder money in tens of thousands of euros). I am really proud of ...

Re: Interpol Red Notice Issued from Finland!
You have to deal with the Finnish police yourself. The arrest warrant will not go away until the matter is settled. In the eyes of the police you are a wanted criminal already 3 years on the run. Until you deal with it, every time you show your passport at a border you might get arrested. And a phon...
