Re: New government’s proposed changes to citizenship and residence permits

fair citizenship after 4 years was always ridiculously short. For a country that has hostile weather, a hard-to-learn language, and closed off social culture, would the 4 year requirement actually have been a favourable currency? *Many* western countries with e.g. English as the official language, ...

Re: Doctors?

Those "refugees" you mainly see are nothing of the kind. More golddiggers who are looking for nice and coddly location Got your TF/ PerusS membership, did you? Assuming you're an immigrant as well, and if I took the basis of your username/handle and assuming you're the same person at Moll...

Re: Doctors?

You are perfectly free to @#$% off if not happy. You expect to be entitled to coddling? Wake up! Learn the local, or sod off. And there's the gene infection? The standard response purely put out! The same as said to refugees, other victims of racial crimes! And NO, I don't expect coddling, but you ...

Re: Doctors?

- - But isn't your personal health worth it, since you are in a hurry and complaining? Correct! I have a moral problem with it though: Why pay taxes for this rubbish level of coverage? English is NOT a national language. So if you expect them to talk English with you, I suggest to ask nicely. Stran...

Re: Diesel cars, what's up with it?

Hi riku2, thanks, I'll try to find the post. If you look at mobile.de then approx 5000 used BMW 5 series from 2015 onwards are for sale. 4200 of them are diesel, 800 are petrol. okay, that is exactly what I was asking: how come so many diesel cars out in the market, almost being dumped (???) , is th...

Re: Diesel cars, what's up with it?

Hi Upphew, Yes, used cars. For some reason, I am not intending to pay idiotic costs to the state by buying a new one. But anyways. I don't mean from outside Finland, I see that Diesel cars are more available than Petrol. But comparing prices on mobile.de and also Finnish sites, there does ...

Diesel cars, what's up with it?

Hi all,

Car shopping, notice that there are a greater availability of diesel cars, even though the CO2 levels are lower. Is there something that I do not know/ am missing out? And will they continue with the käyttövoima vero? Avoid buying?

Re: putkiremontti

Add to that... There was an article some time ago in the news, how plumbing renovation is done within two weeks in Germany, at a fraction of the cost. There was an uproar over this, and went away just as fast! Seen two of them at two different friends place, bollocks! Rubbish! Just my opinion! I won...

What is this organisation: ku-pelastus

hi all, So, what is this organisation ku-pelastus please? It took me some time to figure out that they are asking some sort of self-assessment ( omavalvonta ) for our house, e.g. do we have fire alarms etc We have previously received quite some other advertising, e.g. clean the air vents, etc. all l...

question of joint bank accounts, survivor rights

hi all, so, wife and I have joint accounts ( i.e. yhteinenomitajatili ), and not just the ' käyttöoikeudet ' we've had them always, even while we lived abroad. how does it work in Finland, if one of the spouse is deceased? Can the surviving spouse continue to use that? Or will they have to queue in ...
