Re: Where to find Young coconut water and Taro root vegetabl

I've found both Taro root and casava in a K citymarket in Seinäjoki, so as a guess you should be able to find it in Helsinki K group somewhere. :D The hard thing to find is young taro leaves for Palusami :(

Re: Entrance Results

I got my result from SeAMK by email.

If your are at all worried, I guess you could email the admissions department at your first choice AMK. There are a few AMKs that say they are happy to inform applicants of results. :lightbulb:

Re: Entrance Results

It seems as the acceptance information will take as long as the process takes them, hence the "before July the 1st" time frame. I too are waiting for a response, previous entrance results I've heard about so far have been from late May to early June, so I wouldn't be surprised if the resul...

Admission results for UAS

Hei,

Does anyone, who has got into the English taught Bachelor of International Business at a UAS remember when their admission result was made public?

I know they aim to be before the 1st of July but the English courses can be release a little earlier than the Finnish course.

Thanks

Re: Helsinki restaurant website: www.eat.fi

Eat.fi is a good resource - but be careful - there are a number of phony posts too - 'caveat emptor!' Totally! There are loads of issues with this website now, the current owners of the website (I think the MTV3 lot) spends no time on maintenance of this site, lots of closed sites and phony posts. ...

Re: Becoming an English Teacher in Finland

Tummansininen is right on the money with this one, I've seen people who have been here achieve a middle level(B) of Finnish after 1.5 years by studying full time. Good luck. 8)
