Re: Penalty when travelling without passport?

Yesterday I go to cruise from Helsinki to Talinn and back without knowing that I need to bring my passport. The trip from Helsinki to Talinn is good so I enjoy a day at Talinn and come back happily. However, when I come to the port of Talinn, the custom there ask me for my residence permit and the ...

Re: late brexit permit application - AFTER 30 September

Great reason...you were not informed personally... If you applied over the due date you probably go as 3rd country application, including TE decision. So good luck and I hope you get your country back :)

Re: Cheap corona test for travelling

When traveling to Germany and some other countries is possible to do a "self verified test" using some of these services:

https://www.covidtestonline.de/

https://testifly.de/en/

The costs are way less than what you see in Finland.

Re: Moving to Finland with EU long-term residence permit

I don't think Finland allows you to work if you have this permit from Germany. https://migri.fi/en/right-to-work Unrestricted right to work You have an unrestricted right to work if you have a valid permanent residence permit (Aliens Act, section 78(3)(1)); continuous residence permit on grounds oth...

Re: Passport and resident permit

As a foreigner in Finland you are obligated to have a valid passport at all times. Not having a valid passport is an offence. Migri will ask new passport if they notice the old has expired, however the passport number is not linked with residence permit.

Re: Cheap corona test for travelling

Prices in Finland for these tests are just absurd. 190€ for an antigen test at airport and in Frankfurt is 29£ https://www.centogene.com/covid-19/test-centers/frankfurt-airport.html Test itself costs in Germany 4-5€ in pharmacy, 25€ service for making the test and working 1 min is ok I think.... Re: Cheap corona test for travelling

I'll be travelling at the end of the month to my home country through Germany and I just got to know that even transit passengers are required to provide a negative corona test before being allowed on board. What I intend to do is to book a trip to Tallinn for a day (costs 31 euro) and to have a te...

Re: EU registration; Brexit

You have no decision positive or negative, there is nothing you can do with the layers. Just wait and be happy they don't tell you to apply for regular residence permit.
