Re: Residence permit (family ties) processing
Please do keep us posted about the reply you receive from them. I called migri today. They didn't give any info except that the queue is very long. It's been 4 months since I filed my application. I am living in Finland with my husband but still my life is on a standstill as I cannot work, study, t...

Re: Residence permit (family ties) processing
I have today filed a complaint to Parliamentary Ombudsman of Finland re Migri violating the Aliens Act when delaying my wife's residence permit (that has exceeded 9 months in November counting from the day of the interview in embassy). I was running google and found at least one similar case where c...

Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
Your story is like leaking boat and I’m sorry but I think you are not being straight with forumites. What surprises me most is why are you wasting your time repeatedly here as apparently all the advice there is to give has been passed to you. If you are in real trouble contact these people instead: ...

Re: Finnish interpol refused to cover extradition cost
My salary was 2600e, after tax I got 1900e. But my sales commission is not my salary, it was reward for my effort to bring business to my ex-employer. Good to know. I will ask first thing in the morning our payroll to stop paying my salary and to grant me reward equal to my gross salary instead. No...

Re: Residence permit (family ties) processing
I am from India and my husband is Finnish. We got married in Finland in maistraatti in August and I filed for my resident permit based on family ties mid-August. Online status on migri shows "waiting for processing". I was given an estimate of 2 months at the time I submitted documents in...

Re: Residence permit (family ties) processing
Non-EU family members of EU citizens residence permits are processed into a different queue which is much faster than others. Also the permit is granted normally for 5 years. Congrats to mlkm! I just looked into this and wow! It is much easier process for a spouse of eu citizen to apply and get the...

Re: Family RUnification Resident Permit Application Ratings
According to the Finnish aliens act: When there is no.founded reason for the first RP to be granted, the application is usually dismissed. Usually within 2months maximum. However when application stays longer in processing, it does not guarantee positive decision. Finnish Aliens Act Section 62 Appl...
