Re: Advice for accommodation in Rauma/working at OL3?

Tejay, I am in a similar situation, although we are from the U.S. I would love to ask you some questions. How has your experience living in Rauma been so far? Is the language a problem? Did you get a furnished flat, and did it come with TV and washer and dryer? How is public transit? Have you met m...

Re: espresso machine recommendations?

I have a Krups machine I bought a couple years ago and I'm happy with it. It's very basic but easy to use. It can make 2 or 4 shots of espresso, and you can use the steam wand to foam milk as well. It's easy to clean but takes up a bit of space on the counter. If I were buying again I would go for a...

Re: BBQ sauce

Thanks for the replies! So it seems no chance to get a good one here in Rauma unless I order from somewhere. I do have liquid smoke so I could make my own. Any recipe recommendations you could share?

BBQ sauce

I am craving some BBQ! I saw different kinds of BBQ sauce starting to come out in the stores -- around here at least they only seem to have them in the summer. Which ones have you guys tried and what would you recommend? Are there any good ones out there that might satisy my craving? Any to avoid? H...

Re: Car seat recommendations for 2 year old?

Thanks M! We tried the 123 in our car today but it didn't fit (seatbelts were too short) so unfortunately we couldn't get that one. It had good features though and could be used as the child grows which was nice. We ended up getting another Britax (the Two-way Elite) and that one fits fine. Tekniika...

Re: Car seat recommendations for 2 year old?

We've got two Britax Evolva 1-2-3s and we've been happy with them - easy to use and swap between cars. Basically, I think any child car seat that's allowed to be sold in the shops is safe. Thanks for the info! I too think that what is sold in stores meet the requirements by law and are safe. But I ...

It did win the seat of the year last year.
Thanks for the information. Where did it win that award? I would be interested in reading more about it.

Car seat recommendations for 2 year old?

Our 2 year old, 12 kg son needs a new car seat and we aren't sure what to buy. In our local store they have several models: Britax Evolva Ultra 1-2-3 (which they recommended but it got tyydyttävä at the autoliitto website and one minus was the frontal crash test results) Britax Two-Way Elite (no inf...

Finnish Business Letter Format Example

I am looking for pictures of the standard Finnish business letter format. Does anyone know a good source? It would be nice if it would be in English but Finnish is fine too. Also how would I say "standard busines letter format" in Finnish? Is letter format "kirjepohja"? Could it ...

You might try huuto.net under "kansallispuku". I saw they had several different types of traditional outfits for kids and adults too.
