Good Turkish Restaurant

Last week we tried Antiokia Atabar

Located on Eerikinkatu 44 in Helsinki, from the outside it looks much like any other restaurant. However, stepping in the door is like walking into a Turkish persons' house! It has a decorative interior and is nicely laid out. English menu's are available and the service I found to be very good.

I had the chicken, she had the lamb and both were absolutely sensational. Unfortunately (as you have probably gathered), I have forgotten the exact names of the dishes we had but they were well prepared and both meals were delivered to our table piping hot. Also, generous servings appear to be given 'as standard'.

The average price of a main course is €12 - €16

For the quality of the food, coupled with the price and quality of service, I would give it 7/10.

Thanks for the tip. I had lunch there today. I went with the falafels. It was very quiet but the food and service was good. Standard Lunch Voucher price.
