New Year's Eve in Helsinki

Post by epiket » Mon Oct 31, 2011 2:40 pm

Hi everyone! I'm new so please be gentle :)

I live in Switzerland however I'll be in Helsinki for New Year's Eve this year and have been trying to find some information on what's going on in Helsinki on NYE such as parties, bars + clubs with NYE events, restaurant packages: food + drinks included for a certain price with NYE party items (I had a package like this in a restaurant in Barcelona last year), etc, but haven't had too much luck. I've seen the Helsinki tourism website (the programme in Senate Square doesn't really appeal to us, specifically, as "fun" - no offence intended to anyone! :s )

If anyone knows of anything of interest for a couple to do for NYE in Helsinki (who like to go to nice restaurants and bars for good meals and a good atmosphere - not too expensive, but not too cheap either. Between about 60 - 120 Euros per person, all inclusive), I'd be really grateful for any suggestions!

Thanks so much!

How about the Casino? They have a show and dinner on for New Years eve, No idea what the act is like, but the food is good there.
