Preparing meals for tourists in a commercial context

Post by raskarhu » Thu May 31, 2012 5:27 pm

Hi all

I am wondering if I need some kind of permit for serving food to tourists, i.e. preparing meals once a day as part of an all-inclusive travel package. I mean, can I just prepare the food in my own kitchen or on an outdoors grill or do I need all kinds of permits, degrees, a separate kitchen and what more? Can anyone refer me to an (english) website or something?

Thanks

You need a hygiene pass and your kitchen must be inspected (on a yearly basis)
as part of an all-inclusive travel package
If this can be interpreted as a "program service", you must also have a safety certificate (law starts 1-7-2012) and a safety plan.

Thx for the info. And where can I get this hygiene pass and / or safety certificate? Any websites or other references?
