I have a baby with a finnish citizen and after the paternity was confirmed, I was given a Social Security number... What does this means? Because I don't reside in Finland presently.

Is that what you were hoping for?

You might also be allowed to live in Finland, unless it would mean losing the income you rely on to support the child. If you don't have a pre-existing "in" with a multinational company in Finland, you would most likely be unemployed for many years and very poor in Finland.
