Hello! I'm a filipina as well. I have been to Finland Easter of last year and I liked it. I'm now thinking of giving living in Finland a try.. :)
Mahirap bang ma-hire in the IT industry sa Finland? Saang agency kaya ako pwede magpatulong? Or may company ba kayo alam na willing mag ayos ng papers for their employees?

Thank you talaga! :)

Hi annka,

First and foremost, ano ba ang skillset mo and ilang yrs na experience mo? If possible wag ka ng mag agency, you can try sa online like monster.com, or direct sa company website na gusto mo. Multi national company ang e target mo, wala namang problema sa kanila dito kahit saang bansa ka galing or ano ang nationality mo as long as you fit to their requirements.

Case to case basis then. If sa ibang bansa ka na nag work ngayon, madali lng ang processing. Minimum of 1 week or two makakuha ka na ng residence permit as long as walang objection sa documents mo.

Hello fellow Filipinos,

But how about even before landing a job there, magiging advantageous bang may alam na ako?

Looking forward to your replies. Thanks.

Hey jcy!

Thanks for the reply. I've had an experience with object oriented programming (.Net), databases (Oracle & SQL Server) & Crystal Reports, 1year ako dyan. Tapos 2 years, nasa Business Intelligence ako (SAS).

Ayun, nagttry na rin ako sa Monster but to no avail.... Ganun ba talaga kahirap? :( Paano mo nadiscover yang opportunity na yan?

Annka,

Prayer and perseverance lang talaga.

for some reason i like this thread, despite the recent conversations being about miscellaneous issues that don't pertain to me...but, reading what everyone writes gives me a refreshers course in tagalog...and somehow makes me miss hearing the language being spoken and also my family
