What would be cheaper?
Taking the ferry to stockholm and drive or take the ferry from hanko to rostock and drive from there?
We would you use a diesel van.
Does anyone know how much the bridge fee cost? Or Would the ferrys between Dänmark and Sweden be cheaper?
Thank you for your help?
Driving or the ferry?
??????
er.... where are you going?... final destination ? Zurich? If so, why go through Sweden?????
Last time we drove to Paris we took the Rostock ferry (they used to do special deals off-peak) - we have a 4x4 plus a skibox so probably same rate as a van on the ferry but we are using petrol not diesel. I thought diesel was cheap(er) in Germany but could be wrong.
If I remember correctly the Denmark ferries are much further down the road than the bridge so it is give-or-take. The ferries do some pushy roadside advertising on the route but last time we drove to the UK we took the bridge (which is wow!)
You really need to check out the special deals on the ferries (will depend on your dates) as that can change everything.

Drove 2 weeks ago from Helsinki to Amsterdam and back. On the way to Amsterdam we took the ferry from Turku to Stockholm (55 euro/daytime without cabin = very long & boring trip) then the ferry from Helsingborg to Helsingör (around 30 euro) and Rödby Puttgarden (around 55 euro).
Drove back using the Storbelt-bridge (30 euro) and Helsingör ferry. It took almost 2 hours longer to take the bridge than if we had used the ferry from Puttgarden. Conclusion, wasn't worth saving 20 euro since it took 2 hours longer via the bridge..
The other bridge from Copenhagen to Malmö is also around 30 euro.
Hanko Rostock ferry is pretty expensive but of course you have to pay the accommodation in Sweden if you drive through it..

Just drive through the night and take the morning ferry, no need for accommodation.eivoiollatotta wrote:Hanko Rostock ferry is pretty expensive but of course you have to pay the accommodation in Sweden if you drive through it..
The ferries from Germany are way overpriced.
