Moving to Finland from Canada, questions

Hello :)
I am 19 years old, I have just returned home from vacation in Finland to visit my boyfriend. I plan on moving there in about 6 months, and have no idea how to get started. How hard is it to immigrate to finland? I don't even know where to begin looking it up to read about how I can get a permit to live there. What sort of requirements must I have?

Also, I wantto bring my small dog with me, is that possible?
