Hi all
I am now moving out of Finland, what kind of process I should follow? Is it enough that I just inform the local Maistratti?
Is there any other authority that I need to inform?
Thanks!
JP

Informing teh maistraatti is enough - but what you might want to do is shell out the extra fee to have the Posti forward your mail - they do it up to a year. You know, odd mail and tax returns and such.

Well I would imagine it depends where you are moving to. Are you staying in Europe, going to Canada, or the US. And for how long? Permanent? They do not have universal heath care in all countries so definitely want to look into that. You are also going to need a green card if you plan on working somewhere else.
Several other quick things
a)Inform local registrar office
b)Notify Kela (Finland's social security)
b) Like Pursuivant said I would definitely forward all your mail.
I would definitely not want move your things with you as it can be really expensive. Just sell it and buy used things elsewhere. Way cheaper.
