When you accept the job, you don't fulfill the conditions for a study permit.

And the job in question was full-time one. You said that it would be ok to take the _full-time_ job, apply for RP based on work and if that fails then apply based on studies.

Yes OP can take the job offer contract which will of course be starting at a later date, to the police and apply for work RP and if it is rejected by the police OP will have 30 day to apply on the new basis which is being student. So he is safe on both sides

Thanks guys.

One more thing, If I apply for work RP now and if the decision is not made by the expiry date of my current student RP (and let's think it's negative), am I still eligible to apply for the extension of my student RP after the expiration of my current student RP?

Regards..

To extend something that has already ended... my common sense tries to get my attention. ;)

Afaik, you can stay and act under the expired RP in Finland, if you put application for new one before the expiry of the old RP. Sure you can't travel, but you won't be kicked out either. As you have student RP you are allowed to work 25h/week during the semesters.

Hi Raja,

Thank you for your kind attention and time.

Could you please kindly clarify me one more thing; in your previous posts you mentioned the '30 days period' for re-applying if my work RP application is rejected, is it ('30 days period) based on any law that allows the applicant to lodge a new application on other grounds (i.e. studies; in my case)?

Regards..

Are you deaf?

Pick one or the other. If the one you pick fails then you're going back home. These guys might try and sugar coat it but it already been said.

You apply for one and then you are ineligible for the other. Simple as that.

So pick one, and prepare your ass off for it.

As previously mentioned you have to less likely chance of being denied with the student permit. But then you can't work, and vice versa.

Can't spell it out better than that.

Hi Kutittaa,

It's really nice hearing great language from you. I think it shows your culture!

Thank you.

I come from the only land without culture. Hence the chip on my shoulder /sarcasm

The fact that you can't understand something even when it's spelled out and spoon fed to you tells us that you're about to wade into deep water. ;)

Good luck!
