Do you know a website where I can get cheap tickets

Post by Casey James Robinson » Mon Aug 16, 2004 3:23 am

I am looking for a website to get cheap tickets from Finland the The U.S?
so far on travelocity.com they were 800 in U.S currency. Are there any European booking site that might help?

Sincerely,

http://www.vliegtickets.nl has a whole lot of good offers.
Unfortunately the website is in Dutch and they're departing all from a Dutch city OR from Düsseldorf.

V-bird flies very cheap from Helsinki to Niederrhein, which is very close to Düsseldorf.

If you want I can help you with some translations.
PM me.

Otherwise you could try ebookers.com.

I found really cheap tickets to Ohio not too long ago. But the catch is we had to find a flight from Helsinki to New York and then take Air Tran from New York to Ohio, but we had a great deal from doing it that way. Air Tran only flies to specific cities. So if you are one of those cities (http://www.airtran.com), it might be worth checking out.
I was just doing it, you stupid woman. I just put it down to come here to be reminded by you to do what I'm already doing! I mean what's the point of reminding me to do what I'm already doing...

My soon to be husband and I are flying between Finland and the US all the time. Usually when I look on sites like Travelocity I see SAS being the cheapest. Our usual route is first to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and then to Chicago O'hare (ORD), from Chicago you can easily fly just about anywhere. Travelocity is where I usually book from the states, but he uses http://www.scandinavian.net which is SAS's home page. If you become a Eurobonus member, you also earn points for all star alliance flights (like United). After about 7 trips you get one for free.

I found websites such as http://www.lastminute.com
and http://www.dialaflight.com really helpful on cheap flights

For wider Europe, try Ryanair and Easyjet and Aer Lingus.

I like to use http://www.qixo.com . I think it searches a larger number of airlines than most websites.
