It depends on the nationality of her passport. Most countries are allowed 90 days. The visa is issued upon arrival. i.e. a stamp in your passport.

She can apply at the nearest finnish embassy. Max duration is 3 months. It normally takes 2-3 weeks to get the visa.

Yes, she can use the same visa to travel all countries in Europe except UK and ireland.
I prefer not doing it, if I can't be passionate about it.
