How long did you wait for first Residence Permit?

1. Applied on February 12, 2015, still waiting.
2. Abroad, Russia.
3. Work (two of us, me and my common law wife, but both have work contracts and separate applications, not husband+wife thing)

Hi!We applied on February,11.We have the same criteria.On April,8 the decision is made.

No,just an ordinary worker.We got a partial decision from TE on February,17,I wrote a letter to them asking if they made their part,then the Migri started processing.

They're not allowed to tell the decision in email or over the phone. However, there are indications.
If you get a call and they tell you to come to the police station, this usually means that the decision is positive. Otherwise, you usually get a letter with the decision.
If you have the verified-identity login (bank or poliisi ID), then you can see the decision on Migri e-service website.

I have applied abroad, in the embassy, so I guess I have to go to the embassy in any case.
Unfortunately, I don't have the verified identity since this is my first permit ever and I only been to Finland as a tourist before.
