If I remember right, I found this forum from google while looking for some interesting international forums where I could practise my english (the reading part atleast). I've been lurking around this place regulary for almost two years now and really enjoyed the conversations
. Especially the Kielikoulu has tought me a lot about my own language.
Interestingly enough I have now gotten myself into a tough spot with the imigration office. I never thought I'd actually have anything to do with them since I was born as a Finn, but now, all of a sudden, I am in the middle of some complicated issues. The issues include assylum seeking, the Dublin convention, deportation, passionate love, quite possibly marrying abroad and then getting my future husband back to Finland. A long way to go, but I'm ready for a long battle and this forum has really turned out to be priceless with all the information I can find from here
.

I couldn't agree more. With years of experience on several different forums, I've noticed that every forum has their own "Hank". A person that especially the newbies find rude and arrogant, but who actually is one of the key players in the forum. Some hot heads don't seem to be able to look behind the sarcasm and well, they won't become forum regulars
. Hank is one of those people here, who has increble amount of information and he's spent hours and hours trying to help people. As to what he says when he's drunk... mmm... No one's perfect I guess
. And this forum would be a lot more boring without Hank
.
