The situaton? It's clearing up. A cold front just passed over the South, bringing some snow, but we can look forward to a few sunny days with scattered clouds that may give some snow showers, but nothing like we've seen yesterday. Daytime temperature around -5.

He seems to be asking about the job market situation after completing his studies provided he gets admission.

If you ask the university, I am sure they will tell you that you must await the date that entry results are posted before they can tell you if you have a place.
We have no way of offering more information about your application.

Other than that, the weather is cold, food is poor and beer (still) expensive.

In the good old days of 1998-2000, all the technology students were working for software firms part to full time. As a result there are still many many students who haven't quite finnished their education (and a couple that made a shedload of cash off the share options)

Nowadays, the job market isn't so buoyant, but companies still hire Summer Trainee code-monkeys...and tend to keep them on throughout the year.

Yes, I know that Electrical Engineering isn't quite computer science, but Engineers have todo a few course in programming, especially at the embedded end
