Just wanted to post a quick message in between trying to unpack boxes and settle in, to thank you all so much for your valuable advice, not to mention wit and humour (?!)!!! Arrived in Vaasa last Friday, and loving it! I am more of a 'lurker' than a 'poster', but must try harder in future! Anyway, hello and thanks guys!

Thank you for your welcome! That is Plymouth, Devon, England, although I made a point of visiting the US namesake whilst I was there a couple of years ago, and considering the fuss that Plymouthians make about the Pilgrim Fathers, I was a little disappointed in what I found the other end! Mind you, it was the middle of Winter, so I guess Plymouth NH weren't exactly expecting hoardes of tourists!!!
As for having the internet connection up and running, I have become a sad dependent! What on earth did we do before THAT was invented???!!

Thanks for all the encouragement guys! The dog is loving it, but her mum is being a wussie homesick chick right now! Anyone going to the . bash on the 21st? I'll be in Helsinki that weekend, so was thinking of showing my face...
