Notary Public Service Costs

Post by upc » Fri Nov 06, 2015 9:29 am

Hello,

I am moving to Lappeeranta in a few weeks time to commence work and study.

In the process I have to get copies of my academic records certified by a notary public. Any knows how much this would cost if I were to get it done in Lappeenranta ?

Thanks !!

4€/page says here:

That is for certifying a copy when you have the original with you. Or do you mean you want your foreign records certified? Should you perhaps get the Apostille from that country?

I replied in your other post. Academic qualifications can only be certified by the national board of education in Helsinki:

..but before that you would need a certified translation of the qualifications if they are not in Finnish/Swedish/English.

The whole cost including translations could be over €500.

Taking an acknowledgment, administering an oath, or affirmation are all examples of notarial acts that are described by the notary statutes as anything that a notary public of this state is entitled to conduct.
Translating the entire thing could end up costing more than €500.
