Now on the "Permanent Residence Permit" sticker it's also mentioned in English "Permanent" for Pysyvä. It's GREAT & will make life much easier while travelling as b4 in many airports those passport control officers had difficulties to find out what Pysyvä means & outcome was harrasments for travellers.
Permanent on Pysyvä Oleskelulupa!

how long you had to wait to get the permanent resident permit?

It's very fast...actually 10 mts! On the same the day ur requirements r fulfilled(2yrs/4yrs)...atleast in Espoo Police station!

I don't think its in English, because the "Schengen" stickers have it only in the offical languages.(and they had a big lame excuse of it on their webpages in the FAQ section) However, in Swedish it is 'permanent uppehållstillstånd'
