January 2010 SAT Scores - HSE

Postby paczkows » Fri Feb 12, 2010 6:19 pm

Hey all,

I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there who took the January 23rd SAT Reasoning Test in Helsinki at HSE who is also having problems receiving their score reports online at the College Board website? The results were supposed to be published yesterday, but on the homepage of my account there is a notification in big red letters saying that I need to check back in 7-10 days because my test fell under the small percentage of scores that were not available on the scheduled date of publishing. I was just wondering if the reason for this delay might be that there was some problem when the test organizers sent the scores to the US for grading (maybe some postal mix up???) I took the SAT once before last year and my scores for that test were published on the correct day. Anybody having the same problem as I am? If so please post, because as it is right now I am freaking out that there has been some major error on my test and that my scores will end up being cancelled! Someone please put my mind at ease! Thanks!

Good to know that I am not the only one! I just called the College Board customer service number and was told that I should be receiving some e-mail from them by the end of the day regarding my situation. Have you received your scores yet? I really wish this would be sorted out soon...My scores are over 2 weeks late!!!

Can anyone suggest me about how to prepare for SAT Reasoning test and where to find about SAT dates in Finland. I just know that it is held four times a year but don't know exactly the dates.

www.collegeboard.org -> you can find the exam dates, they are the similar to the US dates. and i would suggest you to look after books on the ebay, there are plenty of them. good luck with the test, start preparing early, it's more difficult than it seems.

Hi,
Do you have any idea about the minimum scores for BScba mikkeli? I found about minimum scores for economics for the year 2011 and that was really a very high score.

the minimum is 1050 points on math&critical reading together, but the statistics shows that you need more points than it to have the chance. last year it was 790 math points the minimum level, that means that you have ONLY ONE mistake on the whole math part. there are around 60 questions, you can receive 800 points, and one mistake/no answer costs -10 points. i'd be curious who could do that.
