Did anyone got new apt for those who got accepted to UAS/Uni

I wonder how many of you got the place to stay after getting the acceptance letter. I immediately applied for houses right after but still, no emails. Does this happen or do people usually have to wait longer?
I thought it was written it will be priorized for those who study for basic degree from outside the city.
Weeks have been passed and now it is getting on my nerves..

International student here coming to study in Finland. Did the same as you and applied for housing right after at multiple sites, however I have not received any offers either. Just being very patient

You didn't say where you are but every year Helsinki runs out of places and thousands of students will not be offered a place even come October.

But OP, you may ask HOAS or TOAS or whatever about this. International students do have priority, and I already have gotten a place.

What could have possibly went wrong? People from abroad have priority! Else you should apply again and latest then when you move there apply as "homeless", then you will get an apartment very fast.

Every single year in the autumn in the big university cities. Goole-fu "opiskelijoiden hätämajoitus"... Usually things get sorted within a few weeks, but still there's always a shortage.

Who knows, all I know is that I'm applying again (as they recommended), so hopefully I'll be getting something. I mean I'll basically take anything and everything XD

I am having the same problem right now. I have applied in here http://www.valkeakoskenasunnot.fi/ for housing in Valkeakoski but still no response from them. I am thinking about send an e-mail to them to remember myself
