I am coming to Finland by an exchange programme, I will have a study permit, and I want to buy a car for the period of my studies, 5 months, is it possible to do so? What documents do I need? I searched all over the internet but can't find any reliable answers.

You probably want to drive the car also and for that you need a driving license valid in Finland.
