Why is it that you have to call people?
Do you have to reserve time? Or do they have to make sure there's a hole in the ice?

No, there is no interest in this. Besides, this requires trained people, you can't just jump into this ice-cold water.


There is a lot more snow now outside, so, a cross-country skiing langlauf competition is a better idea.

The world champions in polar bear swimming were in Muonio this weekend. I missed it. There was on guy from Lebanon in it.
