RUGBY WORLD CUP!
Hi Maxwell. The pole was only open for two days to prevent people voting after the game was going! Unfortunately though, I think I may have miscalculated with the time differences.maxwell wrote:How does one vote on this poll.
It looks a bit cockeyed to me. There are 8 mental cases voting for the losers.
But the main thing is, it's a pretty even match, and is sure to be a tops game tonight.

It is good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters, in the end.

Absolutely. My nerves have been shreaded by that game....It was one of the best finals in any sport I've ever seen. Brilliant.
Full respect to the Aussies, although it was deeply enjoyable to watch our boys beat you, it really could have gone either way. Although I haven't been able to see alot of the games, it seems to have been a perfect final [1] to a very well run competition.

[1] Well...for the English at least.
Maxwell you should know better... Ace I can forgive because of his "sheltered " upbring, in Manchester in the days when Rugby league rulled...Sale have a dam good Union team now..
There were no Grammar School or public school "gits" in the GRFC when I played there, are there are none now.. Name any England player who went to public schoool...those day are long gone!
Maxwell I challenge you to openly accuse the two Cornish players in the England team of being Grammar skool snobs...You would get such a severe kick in the Rse that you will be spitting out bits of leather for weeks.
By the way the fun is not over The Kiwi's have accepted the challenge to play England at Twickenham..20th Dec.(opps nearly said Twickers ops)

Lol Im only joking. It was a great achievment yeserday by the English rugby team, but I think its a bit sad the way the rugby teams achievements is being used as a stick with which to beat football at the moment. In the British media that isPeter Floyd wrote:Ace I can forgive

Mmm... this thread has gone pretty quiet. Don't the Welsh, Irish and Scottish have anything to say? Usually they are full of support for England's opposition. I must say over the years when I was living in Scotland and Wales, I took more than my fair share of 'friendly jibes'
Maybe in this case the facts speak for themselves? Hehe...
