What Next for the Dons?

Post by PeterF » Wed Apr 07, 2004 11:41 am

Wimbledon have gone from Premier in 2000 to Div 2 next season, and from South London to Milton Keeynes..from packed stands to a hand full of supporters.

Their old supporters left behind in South London now support the new:
AFC Wimbledon

The final paragraph of this article reads:

"And will there be another Crazy Gang in the future?

Well if AFC Wimbledon keep getting promoted, and Wimbledon FC keep getting relegated, they will be in the same division in three years.

That would be a remarkable story, another chapter in the fascinating tale of Wimbledon. "

The Milton Keynes Franchise FC are not the real Wibledon and nobody will shed any tears for them.

AFC Wimbledon: more power to them.
