Canal+ Sport HD - Why no English Football?

I just got Elisa Viihde - and Canal+ Sport HD shows no English football even though their main sport channels are showing it.

Do they not have the rights for HD ?

Asking Canal+ would probably provide the answer.

English football from Canal is typically on Canal+ Urheilu and Canal+ Aitio nowadays.

I think what has happened is there is a new channel called premier HD. At the moment this channel is only available through sonera cable tv. I get the feeling sonera might have some kind of exclusive contract to show premiership games in HD

Just now got the chance to get Elisa cable, so could switch from Canal Digital (satellite dish service) to Elisa to get the Canal+ Premier HD to see English football in HD - did anyone buy this extra service (seems to be extra to Canal+ packages) and how is the quality?

Get youself SKY, they are showing football in 3D (not kidding...)
