What the police have said in Portugal

While police will be on the lookout for drunken behaviour they will not arrest England supporters for smoking cannabis in the streets, despite it being illegal, the Guardian reported.

So if I light up a spliff outside Central station do you think I will get away with it

all drugs have been decriminilized in portugal, but someone can still get penalities depending on the drug. with cannabis, it's considered a "soft drug" there...just don't get caught shooting up some H

I did the Beer Tram last night for the first time (pricey but not bad). In the leaflet on board, they describe the station as the place where teenagers, winos and Security guards meet.
