From http://www.yle.fi:

Katsojilla on mahdollisuus äänestää, kumman alkusarjan viimeisestä ottelusta haluaa nähdä suorana? Toinen peleistä lähetetään heti suorana nähtävän ottelun jälkeen.

Kirjoita tekstiviestiin:

PELI 1, jos haluat nähdä ottelun KROATIA - ENGLANTI PELI 2, jos haluat nähdä ottelun SVEITSI - RANSKA

Muista välilyönti sanan PELI jälkeen.

Lähetä viesti numeroon 173005. Viestin hinta on 0,60 euroa. Palvelu toimii Soneran, Elisan(Radiolinja), Dna:n, Telian ja Saunalahden liittymillä.

Ok....Everyone got that? No? Right - explanation.

Yle can only show one match live on Monday as both kick off at the same time. Viewers can choose which game they wish to watch by voting via text message. to vote for England V Croatia send PELI 1 in a txt to 173005 if you want to watch the France V. Switzerland game you need to translate this yourself because I aint bloody well helping you..... oh go on then... just to be sporting.... you need to send PELI 1 in a txt to 173005.

Everyone got that?

Good. Get texting.

You are an example to us all fair maiden.

Come on folks, dont be outdone, remember in situations like this it's perfectly acceptable to get family members, coworkers and random drunks hanging around outside R-Kioski to vote as well.

Well done to you and Mrs Luddite.

I'm off down the pub to steal some mobile phones and bulk-vote on the cheap.

Easier and cheaper:

go to http://sport.yle.fi/euro2004/ and on the right column click on "ÄÄNESTÄ TV-PELIÄ!" (white text over black background) and choose the option you prefer :P

Stig... can you GUARANTEE that the pudgy oaf Looney will get red-carded before I part with my hard-earned 60 cents? I would like some entertainment for my money.

QUICK THOUGHT: Don't suppose you know any of the networks boys who might be willing to generate a bit of "test" SMS traffic do you? *cough*

*whistles innocently*

Can someone explain the Rooney phenomenon...
...because I sure as hell don't see it.

I see a fat thug. A hybrid of Gazza and John Hartson who can strike a ball hard and an opponent even harder.

How easily pleased is the English mentality of the media and football fan.

Yes he's young and you'll hear, "wait 'til he's older"....well can someone tell me what he's gonna do differently when he's older...? Is he gonna develop Cantonaesque skill and foresight, or acquire the pace of Henry...or is he gonna use his main asset, of size, and continue to throw himself about, into Keepers and opponents, and hit balls from 30 yards out...?

Rooney plays in the position of striker for England, so when a teammate puts the ball on his head from 0.3 yards out...I'm hardly gonna scream about him tapping it into the net....he can strike a ball with power at a young age.

I hope not to hear any more !"#¤% of Rooney coming to United... we should have a bit of ambition and aim for the best not a poor mans Duncan Ferguson ;-)

And he has a face like a bulldog licking piss off a nettle ;-)
