Football pitches in Helsinki

Hey,

Can anyone give me some information about renting out football pitches (outdoors or indoors) in Helsinki? Where are some of the cheaper places to rent one? Or where can a team go to play football?

If you also happen to have any information on pitches in Vantaa or Espoo-this may be valuable as well.

We are organizing some women's teams and children football teams and we would like some more information on the availability of pitches in and around the city. If some people are interested joining or developing a children's teams or women's teams please PM me.

I dont know how things go in bigger cities but in here we just started to play, school playfield was free (well we didnt ask, who would pay for what we alredy paid?). It was over 20 years ago tho.
Asked about it from friend who is teacher and answer was "as long its not commercial and you dont stop others using field its free" but this is 850km too north to you

So go looking around local schools if they have fields and ask if you can use those. I would bet that most of football/whatever fields are "owned" by schools. If youre interested more than one place then contact your kunnan opetuslautakunta.
