Hello All,
I am new to this forum. I am a student, currently living in Espoo. I love cycling and am prepared for winter cycling this time. I spent a good amount of time in cycling. I was thinking earning some money from my hobby. For example, bike messenger.
Does anybody have any experience in this matter? Any other suggestions are most welcome.

Hope this helps. I haven't pursued the idea further yet, but you should!

Hi Again,
Haha, a coincidence in fact. I watched the movie 'Premium Rush' today and some 'bike-messengers of New York' videos. Seems that these messengers have no rules in NY. In the Helsinki area the bike-messenger culture must be different from NY.

Thanks for the link. It seems that life is hard for such people. But if this job is taken as a sports then we could enjoy our work as well. By the way, did you get the job?rider1000 wrote:I asked a similar question here.

i have seen one guy in town who i think is a bike messeger.. so there is some compagny out there. seen him more then once..
just saw this short documentary about bike messengers in Brussels. the guy that owns the compagny gets like 10 emails a day for a job. you got to be really lucky or start your own compagny (but i dont think the market is that big..
