Joke..

Post by sheepish » Tue Sep 21, 2004 2:03 pm

Hmmm reminds me of that classic old joke..

A kiwi farmer was on holiday in the land of aus, and was wandering about in the countryside, (as you do).. when he spotted a farmer off in the distance. Figuring he would have a stop for a yarn with an aussie farmer, he wandered over, only to discover that the aussie was having a "good old time" with one of his sheep! In disgust he yelled out, hey mate, back where I come from we SHEAR our sheep!!! To which the aussie promptly replied.. bugger off and find your own!

4 AUS Australia 17 16 16 49
10 GBR Great Britain 9 9 12 30
That would be the typical English reply. "Oh, oh, but there was this one cricket match back in 1987 when we creamed Australia".

If we're on the subject of cricket then when is England going to hand over The Ashes? What year was it again when England last one those? Maggie was still PM wasn't she?

Without the "fun and games/rivalry" it would be "boring!"..
But those who have been lucky enough to participate know that once off the pitch its ..

"Gee you old pommie bastard that was a nasty leg cutter you got me with.. have another beer on me!.."..

."Dont mind if do old chap..I am afraid I cheated.. just a midjon...rubbed a bit of wombat's cum into the seam you know!"

You just would not believe how hard it was to find this photo...
I think it's age indicates the last time such a gesture occured.

I often hear managers and coaches say that you're only as good as your last match and that match was yesterday, not 1987 :?
