British Grand Prix axed..no F1 in UK
I reckon it will be back like Spa(dropped for a year) unless the London GP takes its place. Bernie is flexing his muscles and hopes the outcry will get development moving. It's a shame as the grand prix industry is practically based around the Silverstone area. They have got to find a solution.
I went twice to cheer Häkkinen and Salo and sat in the 3 hour queues to get in and I think only anorak wearing brits could tolerate that and the terrible conditions. Apparently now the the traffic is no longer a problem but the spectator facilities still get put to shame by the new tracks.
