Why does coverage of Women's footie suck so much (don't answer that it's rhetoric)?

'Well done Finland, today the world had a little taste of Finnish sisu' quote from the other half.

Did anyone else watch the game?

Yes. Some of them English slags' bin watchin' the Årse too much; that stuff in the corner in the dying seconds was pure Henry and Pires. And if I was the referee and marginally less blind than that Hungarian bint (how'd she manage to miss the handball and the blatant push in the box in the second half?), I'd have booked them for time-wasting - twice.

But the English probably deserved to edge it. A couple of their people up front were quite useful - Yankey for one.

Still, they'll get stuffed by Sweden and Denmark, so no need for anyone to get too hysterical yet. The Finns are - at least on paper - the weakest team in the tournament, and England shouldn't have been made to work so hard or wait until the 91st minute for victory.

Best thing is there were a good few people there and it gives the women's game a filip, however temporary.
