World Athletics Championships

Is anyone going be involved in/got tickets for the biggest world sporting event of the year - here in Helsinki?

I was lucky enough as a young lad to be a spectator at the first World Champs in '83. I remember watching Tiina Lillak winning the Javelin (amazing atmoshere) and the Americans dropping the baton right in front of me in the men' s relay.

I don't have any tickets yet but am at least going to watch the marathons. Hopefully Paula Radcliffe can win a Gold at last, I'll cheer her on anyway.

I just hope Finland can get a medal or two!

Expect to see alot of nationalities in tracksuits strolling around aimlessly Helsinki in the first week of August.

Has the Finnish team been announced yet? If yes then is Aki Heikkonen in it?
