Well, I was close in going to work in Ireland, just before the economy slumped, and actually the Irish Constitution reads something along the lines that "women should be able to stay home and raise a family" so the taxes for single people are higher but people with family get deductions. As for what studies show? Well that has nothing to do with anything. Someone who is outspoken has just as much chance to settle down and have a family as someone who is quiet. That argument pretty much holds no water at all...
