Delivery

Postby MinnaRaisanen » Thu Oct 09, 2003 9:52 am

Hi,

HELP!

Does anyone know of any place, other than pizza and/or kebab, that delivers food home?!?! Please! I am sick of pizza and don't like the kebab here. I live in Vuosaari...

This has been a thorn in my side for a long time now as I come from a big city where you can even have beer and cigarettes delivered to your front door!!

Starving in Vuosaari...

Chinaboss of Tapanila delivers, but Vuosaari is off their delivery area limits.
-you want me to come cook for you?

Indeed, Minna. Allow yourself once per week to leave the house, buy bulk instant food, cramp it in your fridge/freezer and you're done for a week or two. And it's probably even cheaper than ordering pizza or kebab

That's right: GASTRONAUTTI! That's what I was going to suggest. They've gotten very popular, I hear!

Gastronautti's kind of expensive though :(

However, great selection...

Well...things were looking up, but they don't deliver to the sticks of Vuosaari!! Damn!

Thanks for the tip, though...

Olly's menu left me feeling, well....a little off....

I am sure Olle could knock up a Lancheshire Hot Pot if Black pudding not to you taste..
But there is one other route to explore.
Not quite home delivery ..but I assume you have access to a Slave (i.e. Him who snores!)...it is quite common for restaurants/pub ravitolas.. to do a take away service...our local pub does it with Tex Mex..wifey sits down to watch Salatut Elämät. . or some other similar ruptibum rubbish. ..Slave says I will go fetch a meal. ..he escapes from the TV to the pub for a couple of beers while he waits for them to knock up the Fajitas.. or what ever..takes them home to share having managed to miss the latest saga from the soap opera.. everyone happy...
