Tattoos

Post by beast_in_black » Fri Dec 01, 2006 2:56 pm

Sorry if there is already a topic on this; I did use the search function but found nothing.

I have heard that piercings and tattoos are much cheaper in Finland than England so I thought I might take the opportunity to get one or two when I visit in April. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good tattoo shops (Helsinki or Turku) and average prices.

Kiitos.

There this place in Itäkeskus Helsinki http://www.duckstattoo.fi/cms/?ca=welcome&lang=2

I had mine done years ago in Guernsey, but I am working on my wife , to let me get a new one. This place is very clean and I hear they are good. Let me know how it goes

I had mine done in Duck's Tattoo about 12 years ago. They were then on Kalevalankatu in Helsinki and they were really very clean and hygienic. I'd like another but the man in the house said no :(

Thanks for that link, Duck's does look very proffessional, I'll surely check them out.

@Krash: I think you get dodgy places all over the world. The only couple of stores in my hometown both have bad reputations also.

@sudentassu99: I have been thinking carefully about getting a tattoo for years now as well as considering designs so I don't think regretting it will be an issue but thank you for your concern.

Is a tattoo really something you want to go cheap on?

My tat of a dog licking its balls didn't really turn out the way I had hoped, lets just put it that way.
