raamv... they had the exact same sale this time last year. Honest.

Most of the stuff they are selling in the sale is NOT their regular stock, they buy it in especially to sell off cheap.

I bought a pair of trousers at 50% off last year.... expected to see the store close down, but then it opened up again.

Dodgy.

The consumer ombudsman sould be on their case, but its not as stringent with sales as in France. But if they get caught, they get told "naughty". There was this jeans store in downtown across the Memphis near to Ateneum that was "sale" for 10 odd years

Speaking of which: where do you ladies buy cloths in Helsinki? Every time I need to do some cloths shopping I wander in a mall, check out a few stores, get depressed and leave and wait until I travel somewhere and find something there. And now once again I need to buy something before I'll go somewhere again.

I'm geting desperate. :(

This time the store next to it is also having a closing sale. I was wondering if a bigger store was coming in.
Don't worry, it only feels kinky the first time....

Somewhere other than Finland. But I have what is pc-referred to as
"a problem shape" (i.e., I'm fatter than h*ll and short and chesty to
boot) and nothing is available for me here that doesn't look like
they stole it off of a bag lady. So I either wait til someone is visiting
or I'm in the USA or I order off the net from England and Germany.

Or maybe they just thought claire.dk had a good idea, so they're doing the same

But it must be one of the more expensive rentals as it is close to the centre of the mall. Holding my breath waiting to see what comes in its place: bank? travel agent? optician? another shoe shop?

enk, I hear ya! The problem is, that regardless of a person's shape, even if we are talking about those concentration camp dweller type of body types - I can't help but feeling I'm strolling through Salvation Army or something. Except for prices. Ok, I guess I have to continue shopping abroad then. :(

Nope only the little ones. My SO wouldn't know the DVD from the PS2 from the digibox or the vacuum cleaner. He's sort of retarded about electronics.
