There is the Consumer Ombudsman who has an office in every county.

What kind of claim do you have?

There is a certain step of procedure and there is certain things you are not covered so it might help us get the information if you tell us what exactly you are dealing with.

Can you elaborate a little? A few of us (including myself) have had issues with the Operators and might be able to help a little...

Have you threatened to take legal action? It might move them along. Or another method is to threaten to contact their board/management directly about the matter. One question, is it a big operator (sonera/telia, radiolinja, dna) or is it a more dubious supplier (not that sonera is completely clean of course).

I had a problem with Sonera a while back. I was unable to resolve it.

I asked for the name and contact address for the Managing Director; after a little of the no familiar 'there is no boss of me' routine, I got the information.

A letter was written and a couple of days later I got a phone call from the customer service department telling me the matter was resolved.

If you have not already done this, then I would be inclined to do so. It is easier and quicker than any of the alternatives (except firebombing the head office, but that thas its own problems and won't get your money ;) )

Only if that does not work, would I go any further.

Why are they not returning the deposit - is there some outstanding bill thats in dispute?
