I was wondering if anyone has personally known people whose existing non-permanent residence permit based on family ties was canceled after they divorced. What were they doing (working, studying, getting unemployment benefits) and how long have they been married and lived in Finland?
Or if you know someone who recently divorced but their temporary permit based on family ties was not canceled, could you please also share?
From what I read, it is very rare that a permit is canceled, however I heard that lately there have been more such cases than before...
