me too, maybe different officers pick up different applications and their processing time are different too .

Or, maybe.. just maybe.. each application is different and unique and some applications require further analysis depending on the nature of the details and attached documents? Maybe?

Me and my friend applied on same day for citizenship. His dairy number 5 numbers ahead of mine. His application was opened for processing today. Does it mean, mine will be opened soon?

Does dairy number refer to Queue number?

No, it doesn't mean that. It might, or it might not. The key thing here is, and I hope you understand that part, you are not your friend, and thus your application isn't a copy of his, and thus you have two different cases.

I came here on workvisa and have national passport from stable country. It is supposed to be simple application.

For normal delivery was about 5-7 days, but it depends how busy they are. You can always follow the status of the passport from police website.
