Hi all,
Okay, so I have this quite old (was it from 2009 or so) Bluetooth car system (unopened package), which I would like to have installed. Back then, there used to be companies that did this for a reasonable price. Now I cannot even seem to find a company, I called Delta, they said, they have not done this for over 10 years, and don't know if they can do it.
Any ideas?
Kind regards.

If it's a nokia kit, it's a piece of cake to fit, depending on the car.
Whick kit and which car?

Easy install then.network_engineer wrote:Nokia 610 and then a Mazda 5 2012
You only need to hook it up with an ignition switched positive (yellow, usually), positive (red), earth (black, usually), mute into the stereo/headunit (if you want it to mute the car audio when a call is made/received), then connect the display/antenna/microphone/speaker connections from the main unit.
It was an advanced car kit at the time, but it's really quite basic these days. If you're useful with your hands and can use a multimeter, it's a really simple job.
This guide will help you remove the head unit for connecting into the stereo loom on the Mazda radio:

Just take your time and you'll be able to do it yourself in an hour or two.

But for heavens sake why would you want such a piece of ancient technology in your relatively new car?
I just removed this same thing from my car and brought it to the recycle station (Gigantti ).
If god would give us the source code, we could change the world
