Dear people,
I have some questions regarding tax:
Is there any special kind of tax for KELA support (32.68x20 € per month)? If there is what kind of tax is that?
If there is no such special tax, why they are taking 20% tax from me for such a small amount?
If this 20% is higher than the tax I should pay from my kela support (32.68x20 € per month), will they give me the extra tax back?
Does the housing benefit include taxation as well?
I wish you all a nice weekend.

KELA support and Tax
Re: KELA support and Tax
Of course there is tax, and for free money is actually higher than for money you get as salary. 20% is minimum they will take for any benefits money.

20% is their default withholding percentage for certain types of benefits. The final taxation rate can be lower.tavastia wrote:Of course there is tax, and for free money is actually higher than for money you get as salary. 20% is minimum they will take for any benefits money.
