Guess I'm not the only one that is skeptical about the objectivity of Google

How skeptical I should be of tax.fi calculator if I go there via google than if I go directly to there or via other search engine?

All I'm driving at is that Google is being thought of - by too many people - as some kind of 'authority.' It should just be one tool in people's 'workshop.' What also should be realized is that no LIBRARY has ever been penalized 2.4 BILLION euros for data finagling!!!!

I use Google all the time - but very seldom ever stop there.

If one believes they have been sent to the right place - fine! But if they are not able to make that judgement (or are SKEPTICAL) then they should be ready to investigate and not necessarily via a 'search engine.' Einstein did a pretty good job of 'inquiry' by using the 'search engine' between his two ears!

By the way - Vero.fi - still does a GREAT job with person-to-person contact - and I have noticed they are ready to give EXTRA information that one never gets with the 'Google horse-blinders' on!!

I don't know why, but this sounds like stuff a buddy of mine would say. She's anti-vaccination FEMA camps conspiracy hypothesist. Not to say that you're like that, but just your comments over several months on the topic have a very similar style.

Must hurt to see the payslip after all them taxes. But on positive note, such pay is guaranteed to attract women kind ;)
Would be nice if government can give a tax break for single or married couples without kids.

Since this follows my post directly - I wonder if you have aimed it at me?

If so I can't fathom the relevancy.

My point is that Google is not to be taken as some all-encompassing god - and it's quite evident they finagle data - as the 2.4 billion Euro penalty more than proves.

As I said - brilliant brains in the past did not rely on Google and 'internet searches'.- and then there is the whole matter of developing an independent thinking brain - and also learning from other real humans in ways a 'search' will never do in a similar way.

side-note - I'm sure that the naive reliance on Google and SOME is a big reason there's been such profliferation of 'fake news.' The irony there is the jerk complaining about it - Drumpf - has been the biggest instigator.

More on Google tweaking search results --

From The Times (of London):

Google has paid millions of dollars to academics for research that it hoped would sway public opinion and influence policy in favour of the tech giant.

It depends on which municipality you live in, number of children... for the first year of employment, it is a huge difference if you started working in January, June or December etc...

A web page in English fully dedicated for that purpose. Why not use it? https://prosentti.vero.fi/VPL2017/Sivut ... ieli=en-US
